Ag Plus Cooperative and Meadowland Farmers Coop announce unification study

The Board of Directors from Ag Plus Cooperative and Meadowland Farmers Coop have agreed to enter a unification study to explore the benefits of a combined cooperative. The cooperatives have already had informal talks and shared information with each other that has led the boards to decide to pursue the opportunity further.
No decision has been made at this point. If after further discussions with the boards and management of both cooperatives, the boards believe this unification would be in the best
interest of both cooperatives, a formal merger proposal will commence along with more information on what that would entail.
We expect this process to take weeks, not months and we are committed to keeping the process moving in a timely manner.
The boards of both cooperatives are committed to fulfilling their duties and responsibilities to explore opportunities that can lead to a stronger cooperative.
