Ag Plus Cooperative and Meadowland Farmers Coop announce unification study

The Board of Directors from Ag Plus Cooperative and Meadowland Farmers Coop have agreed to enter a unification study to explore the benefits of a combined cooperative. The cooperatives have already had informal talks and shared information with each other that has led the Boards to decide to pursue the opportunity further.

Meadowland Farmers Coop Donates to Believet Canine Service Partners Inc.

Meadowland Farmers Coop received a Member Co-op matching grant from Land O’Lakes, Inc. As a member of Land O’Lakes, Meadowland received $1,500 in matching funds, which they matched for a total of $3,000 to give to Believet Canine Service Partners Inc. The donation will be used towards service animals for veterans.

Meadowland hosts Southwest Minnesota Advanced Rescue Team training at Redwood Grain facility

Last Thursday, the Southwest Minnesota Advanced Rescue Team conducted training exercises at our Redwood Falls grain facility. This team provides rescue support to first responders and local fire departments all across Southwest MN – specializing in retrievals and rescues from hard-to-deal-with situations like heights, confined spaces, collapsed structures and collapsed trenches. Meadowland Farmers Coop Donates to UCAP Inc.

As a member of Land O’Lakes, Meadowland received $2,000 in matching funds, which they matched for a total of $4,000 to give to United Community Action Partnership, Inc. The donation will be used for the local area food shelves.

Meadowland Farmers Coop Donates to Cottonwood Cattle Producers

As a member of Land O’Lakes, Meadowland received $1,500 in matching funds, which they matched for a total of $3,000 to give to the Cottonwood Cattle Producers. The donation will be used towards upgrades to the Verlyn Nickel Beef Barn and Jesse Oleson Pavilion at the Cottonwood County Fairgrounds.
